Lowest fees for USDT in India: how to actually work it out

Your real cost is the difference between the mid-market rate and the rate you actually transact at, plus any withdrawal cost. The advertised trading fee is often zero while the spread does all the work - compare INR totals, not fee percentages.

'Zero fees' is true and almost meaningless. A platform can charge no trading fee and still be the most expensive place to trade, because price lives in the spread.

The four places cost hides

  1. 1The spread - the gap between the rate you get and mid-market. Usually the largest cost by far.
  2. 2The trading fee - often zero on P2P, and the only one anyone advertises.
  3. 3Withdrawal cost - flat or percentage, when you move crypto off-platform.
  4. 4Time - a slow settlement is a real cost when rates move.

Working out your true cost

Take the quantity you actually want to trade. Ask each platform what you receive, in rupees, for exactly that quantity, right now. Compare those two numbers. That is the entire calculation - everything else is presentation.

Compare any P2P offer

Paste the rate another platform is quoting you and see which one actually leaves you better off.

What a FastXP2P trade costs you

  • About a minute per trade - the average order settles in roughly 60 seconds, so the rate you accepted is still the rate you get.
  • The merchant's margin on the rate, typically 0.4%–0.9%, visible before you commit.
  • 1 USDT for a TRC-20 withdrawal, only if you move funds off-platform.
